SANDY RIVER REPORT

Morning Sunrise on the Sandy River

I love the reflections of the trees on the water

Perfect winter steelhead weather

Better have a good rain coat
I was out guiding on the Sandy river last week, the weather was perfect. We had chances everyday but could not connect with any fish for more then a head shake. The water was rising a little each day we were out, which can make steelhead tougher to catch. The river is on the rise today but when it settles and starts to drop it should be good.
So get out there and swing some flies!
