DESCHUTES RIVER REPORT
Well here we are its June already and the Stonefly Hatch has come and gone in the Maupin area.
There has been some crazy windy and wet weather the last few weeks but fishing has been good.
There has been good hatches of PMD,PED,Green Drakes,Yellow Sallies and Caddis.
My best combo has been fishing a dry dropper in the riffles and pocket water.
The dry fly we been using is a Silvey's Chubby Sally #14 with a Silvey's Beadhead Caddis pupae in
Green or Tan.
Late June and July the Caddis hatches start becoming huge and the fish will key on them.
So make sure you carry some Elk Hair Caddis for dries and have plenty of Caddis pupas in green or tan.

The pictures remind me of my childhood memories on fishing, Carp fishing . In my childhood, I used to fish on th canal and in the ponds. We would fish using net and other instruments. The carp fishes are favorite to me. I also like to go for Carp fishing in our own ponds. Thanks again for such a nice pictorial blog.
That is really a great job to have fun with big and small fishes that is really enjoyable moment while you do catch fishes.
Fly Fishing In Colorado
You guys fish some amazing looking spots. Wish we had more streams and rivers like that here in So. Cal. Makes me miss the few years I lived in Montana. Nice fish too by the way.
