The Deschutes is back into shape and still fishing great. In the Maupin area there are still a few Golden Stones and yes they are still eating Chubby.My best flies the last few days have been a Golden Chubby #6 with a Silvey's beadhead Caddis #14 dropper or a Silvey's Diving Caddis#14 dropper.
There has also been some great May fly Hatches, fishing a PMD parachute #16 or a PED soft hackle #12 have also been good producers.
The big Caddis hatches are also starting with the warmer weather, #14 Elk Hair tan body is a good choice.
