Decided to fish a little on the Deschutes the last day of 2009
Fished below Maupin for a few hours and was surprised how much snow there was down on the river.
Landed a big hatchery hen on my 5wt spey rod.
Great way to end the year.

Winter Steelhead Time
It that time of year again for winter steelhead on the Sandy river.
With some warmer weather this week and some rain the conditions should be good.
